before I even start writing right away, for anyone who simply finds this entry quite readable..the rest of it would be done both in tagalog and english.. just to make it more fun.
Today and for the last few days it has been like 36 degrees celsius here in manila..as in sobrang init ha. Init na talaga ng tanghali, its like literally being cooked on and steamed. And if u try walking out in the afternoon, omigod.. goodluck sayu! Its literally hot here, for the land of hot men and women, the atmosphere is full of it. In other countries, its probably like in different degrees, or siguro malamig pa sa ibang parts. Pero, no matter how humid it gets to be. I simply love phillippines, i really love it here.
most filipinos work abroad not just because the economy sucks (it still does) but then, its the low compensating salary and also some of us have this need for exploring the wonderful world around us. Its not bad to be curious, but its bad enough if u forget where u came from. Sabi nga nila, you cannot really love something unless u know where it came from. we cannot embrace other cultures and have them for ourselves, when we forget to define who we are. Pinoy tayu, actually the best goddamn lovable asians! hehe. I totally believe so, I mean filipinos have this rich monochromatic of cultures and everything comes with it. We all do not look alike, may chinita, may tisay, tisoy, jologs or whatever, but that's the beautiful part of it, di sya nakakasawa tingnan, eh caucasian countries tend to be boring sometimes, lahat sila puti, yun lang. We on the other hand, smell better than any other, I totally agree. filipino people love water so much, they bathe more than 4 times a day, well all because of the weather we have, but it does make us cleaner than any other, I've heard friends who comment about "weird smell" in china, mabaho daw yung mga tao..haha that's their opinion, not mine.
Of course, the food here in manila, is gosh I won't trade for anything. I am huge huge fan of adobo and sinagang and no other international dish matches that. Di ka ata pinoy, kung di mu trip yun. Before, whenever I commute from work, to and fro, its sometimes fun to watch people.. eveyday, we work, pagod..but filipinos seem to laugh it off.. There is something about the filipino trait of cheerfullness, its like there's a lot of things to be laughed about. I sometimes found it interesting di ba, minsan nakakatawa talaga yung ibang bagay, probably why the americans loves us so much, we laugh a lot. Europeans like the way we live, because its vibrant and we view life a bit differently, parang laging puno yung buhay natin, kahit sobrang daming kulang.
Sometimes, it hurts when people tell you how happy-go-lucky u are or how do u live a care-free attitude, and ask you to take life seriously..parang minsan ang sarap silang sagutin na.."OMIGOD, I AM TAKING LIFE SO SERIOUSLY, THE PROBLEM IS ..LIFE IS NOT TAKING ME SERIOUSLY". Loosen up your grip, ang init init na nga dito sa mundo, global warming and all, and you want to tighten up your life with negative views. Everyday people die, and who knows whose next..nobody knows..not even me or you, and yet for the time alloted for you to live, you waste your time by bashing other people's lives or competing for other things, when there is no competition anyway, there is no goal..the only way is to live and enjoy god's blessing, we forgive the heartaches and we love until all the buckets of tears dry up.
Sometimes, when every shit just beats me up..I get my headphones and I listen to music..its only way that prevents me from being insane. I wouldn't gain anything by being sad and hopeless..it only gets life boring.
