This is an excerpt from the book, Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence..whew! after 3 weeks u've finally finished it..it was like a journey from the old times, set in old england. The comparison between the old english culture and now is fascinating. Funny how some things or how people behaved or lived..does still stay in the present culture right now. I meant was the promiscuous dating, the "relationship" between friends which does seem to mean more to them yet they have trouble expressing it, the fact that most men still follow their mother's choice ..its really amazing. I liked this book, not because it spoke of a man's confused emotions toward the important women in his life..but because of how..emotions were discussed, I loved the author's way of writing and describing them..Its interesting that sometimes, unaware as we always are..we affect people..by the way we feel about them.
