my 26th year

gosh in a few hours and i will be another year older..and i often ask myself..has things changed?

well now, its a big YES. I think in some ways, i have changed, most of my friends cannot believe though, and me too actually. Well I admit i will never be perfect and will always have flaws, but i think i have improved my views among other things.

5 THINGS I HAVE LEARNED for the 26th time:

1. NEVER ASSUME. I have great relationships with my family but we also have our hang-ups and problems of communication, this year something happened between me and my brothers which strengthened our bond as siblings..we may often quarrel or wrestle with each other to death (hehe) but we have cultivated our care, love and respect with each other. I used to suspect them a lot, but sometimes there are things that no matter how obvious they are, they would always be NOT what they seemed to be..I have learned the art of asking and especially, the art of trusting.

2.PATIENCE. I have learned this word over and over again. Okay, i do have "sungit and toyo" issues and that's me, it happens when things go wrong and i do have a hard time controlling my anger, but now im trying to pacify myself , im trying to understand "difficult" people and i do try to wait more longer. =)

3. NEVER JUDGE. Its human instinct ..but to make a conclusion on anyone is a bit unfair to both parties involved. I trying to practice on trying to see different sides of different people.

4. BE COURTEOUS. Such opening doors, saying hi, saying thank you..small things..do mean a lot.

5.LOVE WITHOUT PRIDE. well this thing is an ongoing thing but im trying to learn it and without effort, it bends all my stupid pride. Its a hard and bumpy road but im learning and soon ill get there.

So am i more nice..well its not about change..its more about creating a positive outlook in life...I'm just a human being, pretty soon i'll get fed up with the way things are and ill be thinking of giving up on myself..but if i do have a strong positive side ..it would a more pleasant life to live.

A happy birthday to me. =)
