i attended, ruby's sister, rose's wedding.. well at first, my problem was what to wear, since i havent had any proper wedding attire, i wanted to wear some blouse and nice skirt..well i found one in my mom's wardrobe, i had no time to go shopping and besides i liked it because the skirt was floral. i was expecting to just relax and enjoy the wedding since i know its a family occasion and i just wanted to mingle and meet her friendly cousins. But actually, it was a very very very very .. and i mean very long day.
well i came to pick ruby up in the hotel.. then she told me that since i brought my car, then the flowers can be placed there, then she told me she needed help for organizing people at the church and gave me instructions about the flowers, corsages..well i thought it would be an easy job. it was supposed to but the fact that we were running late and a lot of things had to be done. when we came in the church, i still had to check the ninangs and ninongs, nobody how to pin the corsages properly, so it became such a task for me, i had to pin almost everybody's corsages..and read the names of the proper sponsors...then make sure the offertory is done..then me and ruby's cousins had to be early for the reception because we needed to check the list of guests and their designated seats..so it turned out i had to be the usherette. well it was okay for a while, but i was really confused about who's family and who's friends..but of course, i had to smile and be polite and ask them nicely where to go. it was really tense, i had to think fast. then when it was over..i had a nice smoke. gosh.. then...
well we were suppose to head back to the hotel for a post wedding party, like drinking and all.. but the problem was, the gifts. ruby's car was small enough for the gifts.. but mine was enough. so since, it was only practical thing to do, i offered to drive.. the gifts with ruby's at the groom's place.. so we did.. and we havent eaten yet. then, one thing led to another. my feet was killing me and i couldnt drive well already because i was really tired and i have my period. Ruby kept on asking if i was okay.. well i was but the thing is, i had to be home early because my mom is asking my whereabouts..and i was feeling so tired too. unfortunately, i dropped ruby off and told her to tell her cousins that the invitation was nice but i really had to go, But apart from that, i had fun, really.. i met some friends and her cousins were really nice. the music was really great, we were dancing and there were cute guys. but just cute..no more no less..what a weddding day.
